Myntiq ERP App – Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 October 2026

This policy explains how the Myntiq ERP mobile app for iOS and Android (the “App”), published by Myntiq Tech LLC (“Myntiq”, “we”), handles information. It supplements our general Privacy Policy.

1. Who controls your data

The App is a client for ERPNext / Frappe HRMS. You sign in with an account issued by your employer or organisation, and the App sends and receives data directly with your organisation’s ERPNext server. Your organisation is the controller of that business data (attendance, leave, expenses, sales documents and so on) and decides how long it is kept. Myntiq does not receive or store your organisation’s ERPNext data, except where Myntiq hosts that server under a separate agreement with your organisation.

2. Information the App uses

  • Account details – your ERPNext server address, username, name, email and employee record, used to sign you in and show your data. Sign-in tokens are kept in the device’s secure storage.
  • Precise location – recorded when you check in or out, to verify attendance against your organisation’s office locations (geofences). If your organisation enables route tracking for field staff, the App can also record location in the background while you are on duty; a persistent notification is shown on Android while this is active. Location is sent only to your organisation’s ERPNext server.
  • Camera and photos – used only when you choose to take a selfie for attendance verification or attach a photo (for example an expense receipt). Images are uploaded to your organisation’s ERPNext server.
  • Contacts – used only when you choose “Device Contacts” while logging a call, so you can pick a phone number. Only the contact you select is used; your address book is not uploaded.
  • Face ID / fingerprint – used to unlock protected screens such as payroll. Biometric checks are handled by your device’s operating system; the App never receives your biometric data.
  • Notifications – a push notification token is used to alert you about approvals and updates. Tokens are delivered through Expo’s push service and Apple / Google notification services.
  • Device status – battery level and app version may be sent with background location updates so your organisation can tell when tracking stopped because a device was low on power.
  • Crash reports – if the App crashes, a diagnostic report (device model, operating system, app version and the error) is sent to our crash-reporting provider, Sentry, so we can fix the problem. Crash reports do not include your name, email or business data.

3. What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
  • The App contains no advertising and no third-party tracking or analytics SDKs.
  • We do not access your location, camera, photos or contacts unless you use the feature that needs them and grant permission.

4. Your choices

You can refuse or withdraw any permission at any time in your device’s Settings; features that need that permission will then be unavailable. Signing out removes your session and sign-in tokens from the device, and uninstalling the App removes all data it stored locally.

5. Access and deletion

Your account and business records live on your organisation’s ERPNext server, so requests to access, correct or delete them should go to your organisation’s ERPNext administrator. You can also follow our Data Deletion Instructions or contact us and we will help route your request. To have crash reports associated with your device deleted, contact us at the address below.

6. Security

The App communicates with your ERPNext server over HTTPS and stores credentials in the operating system’s secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore).

7. Children

The App is a workplace tool intended for employees and is not directed at children under 16.

8. Changes and contact

We will update this page if the App’s data use changes. For questions or privacy requests, email legal@myntiq.tech or use our Contact Us page.
